MY SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE…

HOLDING SPACE FOR YOU, your baby, AND YOUR BECOMING.

There's something that happens in the birth space, a kind of quiet, powerful crossing, and I feel it every time. Being a doula isn't something I do. It's something I am. It's the thread that runs through my roots, my languages, and every family I've had the honour of walking beside.

I became a doula because I knew what it felt like to move through systems that weren't designed with you in mind. Bella Mama is the practice I wished existed, for the francophone mamá who needs to be spoken to in her language, for the Latina family who wants warmth alongside expertise, and for anyone who has ever felt like the birth world wasn't quite made for them.

LOVE NOTES FROM past clients

“ We feel so lucky to have had Kirsy as our postpartum doula. She started helping our family when our second child was just one week old, and her support was invaluable. Kirsy is incredibly kind, caring, attentive, and always willing to help. One of the things we appreciated most was how proactive she was; she never sat still and was always finding ways to make our lives easier. Whether she was helping with the baby, keeping things organized around the house, or jumping in wherever she was needed, she did it all with a positive attitude and a smile. What made her support especially meaningful was the way she cared for our toddler as well. Adjusting to life with a new baby can be a big transition for an older sibling, and Kirsy was wonderful with our toddler; patient, engaging and genuinely caring. Having an extra set of hands and someone we trusted with both of our children made such a difference. Kirsy quickly became part of our family, and her calm presence, experience and thoughtful approach helped us navigate our new family dynamic with much more confidence and less stress. We are so grateful for everything she did for us and would recommend her to any family looking for postpartum support. “
